Printer/Modem Switch Box
Dan Robinson

I designed and built my own printer/modem switch for my Morrow
MD3 Rev.1 computer, Epson RX printer and Signalman Mark XII modem.
I drilled a hole in the back of the Morrow cabinet (with a sponge
to catch chips, and vacuuming afterwards) and in the switchbox
and used a long screw to hold the box firmly in place. With the
help of Marc Norton, I rewired it recently to work with both
BYE.COM, Modem7, Reachout and hopfully other modem programs.

The wiring is something like this (I just wish it was this neat):

     Printer Computer Modem
        1---------------1---------------1
        2-------\-------2------/--------3 \, / = switches
        3-------\-------3------/--------2
        4-------\-------4------/--------5
        5-------\-------5------/-------20
        6---------------6
        7-------\-------7------/--------7
        8---------------8
        20------\-------20-----/--------8

I think it could probably still be simpler. It would be nice to
also have a switch for power to printer and modem ganged together
with these. Dan
